We have been in our new home for six months now and our grandson is seven months already. Where does the time go? Our new surroundings are beautiful and we love living on the East Coast. Missing our family and dear friends in California is an understatement for sure. Here is an updated photo of Emerick at seven months. Our daughter Samantha is graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego on the 16th! Samantha has worked hard for this day to come. We are oh so proud of her. Looking forward to our San Diego trip to be with her for her huge accomplishment.
Fastest ten days ever had while Sam was here. We had an amazing visit...the picture's were taken at the airport in Phili on her way home. But our time together was wonderful and full of fond memories.
We have lived in Maryland since November 2008. The time goes by way too fast. Richard has once again left Retirement and signed on at Peach Bottom in Pennsylvania for a three year contract. He just isn't retirement material. Anni and James just purchased their first home in
Stewartstown PA and it is beautiful. A lovely home that sits on a acre and a half. Anni is busy with her photography business. James is busy with school and work. Emerick is four years old now! Louis ( Lou-ee) is one year old. Samantha is living in Arroyo Grande, CA and working for the County of San Luis Obispo teaching special education. The biggest change in Samantha's life is she became Mrs. Bo Carvahlo on August 3rd 2012 in Hawaii. Bo and Samantha visit as much as possible. We visit California often as well.
Our goal in Richards "Final Retirement" is to live Bi-Coastal and travel as much as possible. We enjoy going different places often to explore. Richard loves his golf game and plays as many courses as he is able to get on to. I love to kayak, run and swim. Our travels usually accommodate all of those activities with warm weather, lakes or beaches.
