New Snow !

Good Morning Maryland!

This second "Blizzard" is something Maryland has not seen in many years. It is said that there is no one alive to remember such storms. And here we are hunkered down with plenty of projects to do, painting, doors etc.
Great yummy, warm and fuzzy meals to make too.
The photos were taken this morning outside our back door. It really is beautiful..

Yep Snowed In

Snowed in and Stranded in Maryland

California is not happening for me right now, sad but true. Two flights were cancelled and another storm due in on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Gut feeling is to wait until March to make the trip.

So March it will be....will wait and see.

P.S.
We managed to dig the truck out and make it home after two days in a hotel near the airport.

Snow Fall

Packing for California

Off for a much needed visit with California family and friends.
Sam is living with my very special, dear friend, Jackie so I get the best of both worlds, to be with all of them for ten days!
Will post photos from my trip when I arrive home...so check back -)
Anne took this photo of Sam at Christmas, love it! Miss her, can't wait to see her

Goodbye to our Cute Car

Mini Cooper Madness
We made a hard decision to sell our little Mini Cooper and wow it sold fast.
New owners are so very pleased to own such a cute, clean little fast machine.
Served us well...we will miss it...<3

Job Well Done

Fast but very good painters....

Photos don't do the color justice...wanted to share anyway.
The walls are darker than they appear in the photos. The couch is new and goes with the flow now. -)

Master Bedroom is a sage green, the walls are darker than they appear in the photo's.

Neighbors

Progressive Dinner
We and three neighbors had the best time this last Saturday for a delicious meal. We started in our home, then next door for salad, then two doors down for main dish and finally five doors down for dessert. We had fun chatting, eating, drinking, laughing and most importantly spending quality time with friends and neighbors.
Our home is located in a great neighborhood, safe, sound and lots of fun.
It was midnight for us all before we knew it!
